This is an archiving script for 3ds Max that can collect all your assets including textures, proxies and etc... then compress it to a single file to share it with anyone or just archive it in your hard drive or online.
you can use this as a backup tool or sharing tool or just compression tool that save your hard drive sapce.
this script use interal 3ds Max default archiving tool but with diffrent archiving tool and options.
it is way more capable that default 3ds Max archive tool.
Features:
- Customized setting (to access setting hold shift on toolbar button and then click it).
- Set compression level from Ultra Compression Mode to No Compression in 10 level.
- Set output file format from 7zip default format to Self-Executable SFX (EXE) fromat.
- Set 3ds Max file version from your current 3ds Max version to lowest possible version that it support.
- Collect and relink all assets used in the scene with support for any 3ds Max rendering engine including but not limited to V-Ray and Corona Renderer.
Notes:
This script only support 3dsMax 2020 and above (2020 / 2021 / 2022 / 2023 / 2024 / ... )
Installation:
Just drag and drop the mzp file to 3ds Max viewport or run it from 3ds Max Scripting Menu
- after installation add toolbar button from "# MOHSENI" category.
- to access setting hold shift while clicking on toolbar button.
you will get a 3ds Max script for archiving and collecting assets of 3ds Max scenes.
